It is not so strange now to hear people talking about liquid glass or its properties. People are becoming used to it and have started using it as regularly as they use other cleaning and protecting products. But many people do not know yet what liquid glass is, from where it is produced and what its composition is.

Liquid glass is Sodium Silicate (Na2SiO3), an alkaline silicate that Jean Baptist van Helmont studied and defined as molten sand with excess of alkali. Sodium Silicate is presented as powder and it can be easily dissolved in water, the result is an alkaline solution that we commonly know as liquid glass.

liquid glass nanotechnology

Liquid glass is not created naturally; we produce it in our laboratories in order to concentration amounts that are higher occurring than through a natural process. Sand and alkaline are the raw materials used to obtain liquid glass. The first phase of the process consists on mixing soda, sand and water, the resulting reaction is a liquid. After this step it comes the thermal phase in which Sodium Carbonate and Sodium Sulfate are melted at high temperature; when we mix it with the liquid obtained in the first phase the result is Sodium Silicate.

Sustainable liquid glass

In Liquid Glass Nanotech we care about environment and our main purpose is the creation of all our products in a natural way without harming nature. Sustainability is our first aim.

Liquid glass is a 100% natural technology; it is extracted from sand in a natural way. In order to obtain liquid glass we do not use any material that is not present in nature.

In addition, the simple use of liquid glass to protect and clean our belongings and houses is a way to care about the environment, as we avoid the use of chemicals or toxic substances, and we prolong the lifespan of those products, reducing our levels of waste.

The awards our product has received endorse our work as eco-friendly and show that we care about nature and that liquid glass has beneficial characteristics.

Sodium Silicate is a safe and pure substance and it is the most abundant mineral on Earth, that is why using it cannot harm environment.
